Hibiya,Toranomon Hills

Starting from Yurakucho Station, we will go around Tokyo Midtown Hibiya, Hibiya Park, and Toranomon Hills. We will also stop by the delicious ramen shop in Nishi-Shimbashi and Toranomon Yokocho.

Yurakucho Station Hibiya Exit

Yurakucho Station is served by the Yurakucho Line “Y 18”, the Keihin Tohoku Line “JK 25” and the Yamanote Line “JY 30”. The area around the station is crowded with both business and downtown areas.

 Hibiya exit includes “Bic Camera,” “Tokyo Takarazuka Theater,” “Imperial Hotel,” and “Tokyo Midtown Hibiya.” The Ginza exit includes “LUMINE Yurakucho,” “Hankyu MEN’S TOKYO,” and “Tokyu Plaza Ginza.”

Peninsula Tokyo (30 minutes)

This hotel faces Kokyo Gaien National Garden and Hibiya Park. It is in the best location within walking distance to Ginza, the center of shopping.

Tokyo Midtown Hibiya (60 minutes)

Tokyo Midtown Hibiya has about 60 shops and restaurants, offices, movie theaters, aerial gardens and plaza spaces.

It was developed as the second product of the mixed-use urban development brand “Tokyo Midtown” in central Tokyo, and opened on March 29, 2018.

Hibiya Park (30 minutes)

Hibiya Park is a metropolitan park located in central Tokyo, adjacent to Kasumigaseki, Yurakucho, and Uchisaiwaicho, and close to Ginza. The park area is 16.2 hectares.

Along with the Tokyo Dome (1.3 hectares), it was often used as a measure of the site area, such as “how many Hibiya Parks”.

The park surrounded by buildings is often seen as a business person during the day and functions as an oasis in the city center.

Hibiya City (30 minutes)

Hibiya City was completed in October 1981 with the construction of the Hibiya Kokusai Building, which has 5 basement floors and 31 floors above ground, on the site of the former Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK).

Hibiya City Square “Sunken Garden” was born in November 1981 as a general term for a fun city with taste, relaxation and shopping, and has existed as the only office space in Tokyo with an outdoor event space to date.

Kuroobi Ramen (60 minutes)

“Kuroobi Ramen” in Nishi-Shimbashi 1-chome is a ramen that uses Rishiri kelp luxuriously and does not use any chemical seasonings.

The shop makes new soup every day. Ramen (salt) is 800 yen, and Kuroobi ramen (soy sauce) is 1,100 yen.

Toranomon Hills (60 minutes)

“Toranomon Hills Mori Tower” is a skyscraper complex tower with 52 floors above ground and a height of 247m. It is located in the “Asia Headquarters Special Zone” where the Tokyo Metropolitan Government promotes the attraction of foreign companies.

Toranomon Hills consists of “Mori Tower”, “Business Tower”, “Residential Tower”, etc., which houses offices, commercial facilities, residences, hotels, etc., and “Station Tower” is under construction.

Recognized as a new landmark representing Tokyo, offices, hotels, and residences are still in full operation, five years after its opening.

Toranomon Yokocho (30 minutes)

Toranomon Yokocho is located on the 3rd floor of “Toranomon Hills Business Tower” completed in January 2020.

Twenty-six famous stores from all over Tokyo have gathered.

Toranomon Hills Station

“Toranomon Hills Station” is a station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line, located in Toranomon 1-chome, Minato-ku, Tokyo. The Mori Building was built as a petition station that bears most of the construction costs.
